About this ebook

Can love forget?

The battle against the emerald priestess turned the peace at Brighton Manor into ashes. Lea and Aerden are prisoners in the King’s City. Jackson is out of his mind with grief and anger. And Harper—the one who once united them all—is gone.

Before they can regain their freedom and find their way back to one another, they will each have to face their past and fight to claim a better future.

But for one of them, it may already be too late.

Yet again, Sarra Cannon manages to pull me back into the Shadow Demon world within the first few pages of the latest instalment. Harper, Lea, Aerden and Jackson's lives have changed so much - and the tribulations of the Prima gates continues. Written like a pro (which we all should know by now, Sarra is) these books are fantastic to read. They don't take long and can be read again and again (I should know, I read this three times but didn't update my goodreads haha). The worst part of the Shadow Demon series is waiting for the next book. This book ends in a perfect place to leave the reader wanting more. I officially declare Jackson as my book boyfriend whenever someone asks me to choose - and I prefer to liken myself to Lea (I don't look good in Blonde lol). If you haven't read any of the Shadow Demon series (this is book number 9... You really need to go back and start with Beautiful Demons). (Review completed following the receipt of an ARC from Sarra Cannon)

I would like to thank you for sharing your gift in these works of wordsmithing. They drew me in and held me captive. I have noticed a few instances in the 9 or 10 books where you have transposed one characters name for another. It didn't pose much problem with the flow of the experience. Although, it did pull me up from losing myself in your stories. I was able to jump back into the fray quickly. Keep writing please. Damn lady, you can weave a story like magic. Thanks, Jolene Fellows.

Like all the books in The shadow demons saga this book is amazing. As soon as I started to read I did not want to put it down. The book follows on from the other so easily it's like your ready one long book not 8 different ones. Forgotten darkness has an amazing storyline that make you feel like your watching a movie in your head and not reading a book. The twist in the book will keep you hook and wanting more. definitely worth a read if you have the read the other books.

About the author

Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college aged characters. Her novels often stem from her own experiences growing up in the small town of Hawkinsville, Georgia, where she learned that being popular always comes at a price and relationships are rarely as simple as they seem.

She is a devoted (obsessed) fan of Hello Kitty and has an extensive collection that decorates her desk as she writes. She currently lives in South Carolina with her amazingly supportive husband and her adorable son.
