The moment they believe all hope is lost is the moment something real finally begins.

Penny Wright has loved her brother’s best friend Mason for years, but she’s only been sleeping with him for one.

Mason is in her bed one night and in the arms of someone else the next, but no matter how hard Penny tries to pretend it’s all in fun, this secret, non-relationship is tearing her apart. She’s trying her best to be flexible, but let’s face it. A girl can only bend so far until she breaks.

When it all comes to a head in a nothing-will-ever-be-the-same-again kind of moment, Penny is left with one breathtaking choice. Stay and face the music, or run away with Mason and try to find out, once and for all, if what they have together is real.

Each book in the Fairhope series can stand-alone, but you'll see updates on your favorite characters throughout each book, so read them in order to get the most out of the series!

I'm giving this 4 stars and that is because of the main female character's parent's and how they are about how they want to rule over their daughter's life and not let their daughter to learn. And I love how the main female and main male character finally stood up to her parent's and how they finally realized that they loved each other and that no one else would do. But overall it was pretty good and I liked it.

Although I enjoy the author's books, I found this one extremely annoying to read. There seems to be no editing of any kind done to this book before it's release, which made it a bit difficult to follow seeing as there were no quotations to distinguish thoughts from what's being said. Aside from all of that it was a good read and I enjoy the series...

Just finished reading The Moment we Began. And I'll admit it had such a heart warming moments that made me cry my eyes out. It shows the importance of being happy with what you have in life and never giving up on true love. By far it's my favorite, I can't wait to read the 3rd book. The only thing I didn't like was the fact there's a lot of punctuation errors. Or else I give it 5 stars. :)

About the author

Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college age characters. Her novels often stem from her own experiences growing up in the small town of Hawkinsville, Georgia, where she learned that being popular always comes at a price and relationships are rarely as simple as they seem.

Her best selling Young Adult paranormal series, Peachville High Demons, has sold over 150,000 copies. A spin-off series will begin in 2014, beginning with EMERALD DARKNESS.

She is a devoted (obsessed) fan of Hello Kitty and has an extensive collection that decorates her desk as she writes. She currently lives in South Carolina with her amazingly supportive husband and her adorable son.
